"Your thorough search for a country manager in Thailand resulted in a slate of fine candidates and the hiring of an enthusiastic, well-qualified new manager for ADC. I was particularly pleased with the depth of research and the systematic evaluation of all leads. Your personal experience and contacts in Thailand helped us enormously, both in the hiring process and later in introducing our new country manager to your contacts there."
-Don Render, VP International_ADC Telecommunications
After the Thailand assignment, Otis was retained to find a strong General Manager for ADC's operations in Korea. The result was an excellent hire and a radical upturn of ADC sales in the Korean market.
The American dollar continues to be weak overseas which makes US goods and services abroad very cost competitive. Further, as the US economy experiences relatively weaker demand, many firms look to their current and potential overseas markets to compensate for weakening domestic demand. The effectiveness of this effort is directly dependent on the quality of leadership representing American interests abroad.
Duncan Otis, principal of OAI, is a graduate of Williams College and the Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management where he took a Masters degree in International Marketing and Finance. Mr. Otis has lived and worked in Asia for 8 years.

This puts him in a strong position to help such hires to be effectively integrated into their new roles. Otis speaks German, Japanese, and Thai.
